Yokogawa Electric Corporation announced that Yokogawa Electric Group's greenhouse gas emission reduction target

for 2030 has been certified as a scientific carbon target by the Scientific Carbon Target Initiative (SBTi),

in line with the Paris Agreement's goal of "controlling the increase in global average temperature from pre industrial

levels within 2 ℃ and striving to control warming within 1.5 ℃".The Science Carbon Target Initiative was jointly established

by the CDP International non-profit organization, the United Nations Global Compact, the World Resources Institute (WRI),

and the World Wildlife Fund (WWF). It aims to promote enterprises to establish scientifically based greenhouse

gas emission targets to achieve the goals of the Paris Agreement.

Yokogawa Electric Group's greenhouse gas emission reduction targets

According to the priorities of the "Accelerate Growth 2023" medium-term business plan released in the 2021 fiscal year,
