Automation has upgraded the PowerFlex 6000 series of medium voltage drives with the introduction of the new intelligent PowerFlex 6000T medium voltage drive, which features advanced TotalFORCE control technology, superior performance and the ability to incorporate advanced technologies such as 5G, big data analytics and AI. It enables remote monitoring, predictive maintenance and other functions, bringing the value of SEEE (Safety, Energy Efficiency, Environmental Protection, High Efficiency) to businesses and society, and helping the country achieve its goal of carbon neutrality.

The R-frame PowerFlex 6000T medium-voltage inverter with an output voltage of 10 kV is smaller in size, and some of the cabinets can be optionally equipped with built-in frequency bypass, which makes it easier to install and can significantly reduce commissioning time; PowerFlex 6000T has a synchronous switching function, and one inverter can start multiple motors in sequence, saving energy and reducing investment; in addition, the PowerFlex 6000T also has a load distribution function, supporting multiple inverters and motors driving the same load; the inverter provides three control modes: flux vector control, sensorless vector control and voltage-to-frequency ratio control.

The PowerFlex 6000T inverter features advanced TotalFORCE technology for flexible, high-performance control, real-time intelligent operation and faster commissioning. The inverter can closely follow speed or torque commands; predictive maintenance is another advantage of TotalFORCE technology, where the inverter continuously monitors and tracks operational data from the electrical components inside the inverter and feeds diagnostic information back to the control system in real time, whereby failures of electrical components can be predicted and action taken in advance to reduce unplanned downtime; the inverter's adaptive control feature can help isolate fluctuations in potentially harmful loads and automatically compensate for load changes, thereby maintaining normal system operation; with the help of load detection technology, the load fluctuations are observed through the inverter's own sensors and adaptive adjustments are made so that the load operates stably.

The PowerFlex 6000T medium voltage inverters integrate seamlessly with Automation control systems and support the unified and user-friendly software environment Studio 5000. The unified software platform makes it easier and faster to design, integrate and maintain automation systems; in addition, the series inverters are equipped with an intuitive and easy-to-use 10-inch color touch screen. The inverters support a variety of communication protocols, such as EtherNet I/P and Profibus DP and other major communication protocols.
